Volunteer To Give Hope
Hope Cottage could never realize our vision of nurturing and building families without the help of our volunteers. Our current needs include Hope Chest Resale Shop helpers, special events volunteers and regular office helpers.

Opportunities to Help
- Program:
- Hope Chest Resale Shop
- Description:
- The resale shop shares the Hope Cottage facility at 4209 McKinney Avenue. Proceeds from the sale of clothing and gift items help support the programs at Hope Cottage. Volunteers are needed to sort, wash and tag clothing, organize the shop and design window displays.
- Time:
- Monday — Friday 10 a.m. — 5 p.m.; Thursdays 10 a.m. — 7 p.m.; Saturdays 12 a.m. — 5 p.m.

- On-site training required.

- Special Events
- Description:
- Volunteers are needed to assist with "Make Tracks for Hope" 5K and Family Fun Run/Walk in May; the Hope Cottage Golf Tournament. Assistance includes promoting the event, acquiring raffle items/prizes and assisting on the day of the event.

- Individualized and on-site training is required.

- Office Assistant
- Description:
- Volunteers needed to help archive records, maintain database, assemble information packets and perform general office duties.
- Time:
- Weekdays 8:30 a.m. — 5 p.m.

- General volunteer training and program training are required.
