If you ever need to talk to someone, Hope Cottage is here for you with supportive, compassionate counseling that covers every aspect of adoption for every member of the adoption triad (birthfamily, adoptive family and adoptee) at any stage or age.
In particular, any request for identifying information from the adoptive file has to be handled through the courts because adoption records are sealed in Texas. A one-hour counseling session is required by the State of Texas before this information can be released, and Hope Cottage gladly offers this to you.
