Hope for families counseling and education center

The Center offers a variety of services with specific attention to the needs of adoptive/foster families or those struggling with associated issues not often fully understood by the general population or medical community. Couples, individuals and families who come to us in time of need will be treated with care, compassion and dignity.

Our services include:

• Individual, children's, couple and family counseling

• Peer support groups facilitated by trained professionals

• Individual and group education

• Resource and referral library

Our caring professionals provide a variety of individualized counseling services to meet your specific needs. In addition, we offer specialized counseling in the following areas:

Reproductive: Infertility, pregnancy loss, grief, assisted reproductive technologies & postpartum depression.

Adoption: Post adoption concerns, open adoption, post-institutional adjustment, bonding and attachment, involuntary removal from birth family & trauma and abuse recovery.

Child & Family Issues: Foster Family, blended families, non-traditional families, and extended family concerns
