In our embryo adoption program, a woman or couple with frozen embryos agrees to release them for transfer to an adoptive couple. The embryos are implanted in the adoptive mother's womb, she bears the child and she and her husband become that child's parents.
Hope Cottage provides these embryo adoption services to families in the state of Texas through our association with Nightlight Christian Adoptions in California. Nightlight works closely with both genetic families and adoptive families to complete the cycle of life and build loving families. They handle contact with the donor families, coordinate the planning for embryo transfer with the two families and assist with the necessary legal work. They also preapprove prospective adoptive families to ensure they meet donor family requirements and are able to carry a pregnancy to full term.
