Celebrity Sips

Brooks Quinlan and Bobby Walters of Komali

Last Thursday glasses were clinking and the margaritas were flowing as Komali , owned by Chef Abraham Salum, opened it’s doors for a Celebrity Sips event benefiting Hope Cottage.

Program Director Brooks Quinlan and Leslie Clay, Chief Development Officer served as guest bartenders, mixing specialty drinks like the Komali Margarita under the expert tutelage of  Komali mixologist Leeann Berry.  Komali donated back a portion of the night’s sales to Hope Cottage Foster to Adopt programming.   Patrons could also tip their bartenders, with 100% of those tips going back to Hope Cottage.  Leslie Clay had this to share -  “We had a great time and were pleased with how many Hope Cottage friends came out to support the event.  You know – bartending is hard work!”
